As much as I hate them, I always feel bad for the person on the other end who is really just doing their job. I have such inner conflict with them. I HATE scams and the scripted crap and how annoying they can really get. But at the same time, it isn’t the particular person on the other end’s fault. So whenever I turn them down I try to be super polite but I feel like I always end up sounding rude anyway.
